Downtown Cary Park is a seven-acre, centerpiece collaboration between the Town of Cary, OJB Landscape Architecture, Machado Silvetti, and a host of consultants, community members, and the town’s council and manager’s office. Machado Silvetti has designed five park pavilions set in diverse OJB-designed landscape zones, including spaces for performance, indoor events, and dog play. Natural materials-warm woods, bricks, and metals-and curving forms help coalesce buildings with landscape.

Since the groundbreaking, site work has continued to take shape with grading and foundations. The first pavilion in the schedule, the Bark Bar, is under way with foundations and walls going up this month.
